Chlorination

Outlined in AWWA C651’s continuous-feed method, underground water mains are disinfected by injecting them with a chlorine solution, which is then flushed until the chlorine residual matches the system’s normal level. Additionally, AWWA C651 includes provisions for the spraydown method, of reservoirs, clearwells, and interior surfaces of pipes are sprayed with a chlorine solution to ensure disinfection. Bacteriological testing confirms safety before the water main is put into use.

Dechlorination is provided when high PPM levels exceed the allowable threshold for sewer discharge.

Chemical Cleaning

Using chemical agents to remove dirt, contaminants, or residues from surfaces or equipment including but not limited to; stainless steel, copper, black iron, carbon steel, PVC, heating and chilled lines chemical startup and cooling tower passivation.

Testing and Analysis

We conduct analytical testing for bacterial and chemical contaminants to ensure system safety and usability.
